He was predeceased by: his parents, John William Bexton and Irene Wright Bexton. He is survived by: his children, Diane Nixon of LaGrange, Matt (Lori Bexton) and Andrew (Tammy Bexton); his grandchildren, Shannon Nixon, J. D. Nixon, Harley Bexton, John Bexton, Noah Bexton, Robert Cranson and Dustin Cranson; his great grandchildren, Layla and Hazel; and his brother Patrick Bexton of LaGrange.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home (208 Johnson St, Hogansville, GA 30230). A memorial service was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
