It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe T. Brooks (LaGrange, Georgia), born in Randolph, Alabama, who passed away on August 25, 2020, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel N. Brooks and Evie Denham Brooks; his wife Doris Fuller Brooks; his son Joe T. Brooks Jr.; and his granddaughter Angela McCullough.

He is survived by: his children, Ruth Butler (Danny) and Danny Brooks (Judy); his daughter-in-law Paulette Brooks; and his sisters-in-law, Ruby Parker and Gladys Barfield. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild.
