It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeanette Shaw Bailey of LaGrange, Georgia, who passed away on February 7, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Carlis Shaw and Lottie Hammond Shaw; her husband Ammie Lee "Bill" Bailey, Sr.; her children, Alana Bailey Turner and Lee Bailey, Jr.; and her granddaughter Celia Elaine Bailey Knight.
She is survived by: her daughters, Annette Thompson (Randy Thompson) of LaGrange and Christine Rudd (Eddie Rudd) of Dudley; her daughter-in-law Cindy Bailey of LaGrange; and her sister Frances Gaddy of Hogansville. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 21 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home (208 Johnson St, Hogansville, GA 30230). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
