He is survived by: his spouse Bobbie; his children, James William Melton, Jr. and Candy Melton; his siblings, Knox Henry Melton (Mamie), Jean Massingill (Gary), Martha Lou Bowers and Doyle Bowers (Sheila); his grandchildren, Adam Scarborough (Caroline), Laura Scarborough (Taylor Jameson), Scott Scarborough (Toni Lee), Kennon Cadenhead (Sabrina), William Morgan Scarborough (Kaylee Keeth), Rachel Sheffey, Christopher James Melton, Christian Gabriel Melton, Briana Melton and Eva Marie Melton; and also, Jim, Niki Cadenhead and Dot Messer.
In honor of Bill's compassionate spirit, the family requests that donations be made in his memory to Trinity On The Hill Community Church, where his legacy of love and service will continue to inspire future generations.
