He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bartow Rowe and Elso Arcola Norris Rowe; and his wife Mary Calhoun Rowe. He is survived by: his children, Jim (Gail Rowe), Linda (Young Trammell), Susan (Dennis Young) and Beth (Rick Spencer); and his sister Emily Rosser of Moreland. He is also survived by his extended family and will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Luthersville Cemetery Fund, Luthersville, Georgia or Standing Rock United Methodist Church, Five Points, Alabama.
