He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Howard Thomas Griffin, Jr. (Terry) of Hogansville and Regina Griffin Smith (Allen) of Newberry; his grandchildren, Haley Griffin Egesdahl (Brian), Jessica Smith Hudson (Brandon) of North Charleston, Elizabeth Smith Brissey Auburn (Robert), Matthew Sterling Smith and Caroline Sterling Smith of Newberry; his great grandchildren, Greyson Luke Egesdahl and Abigail Elise Hudson; his wife Eula Pearl Baldwin Griffin; and his parents, Thomas Lewis Griffin and Mamie Lee Harper Griffin.
