It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel Ann Preast of LaGrange, Georgia, who passed away on April 6, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tommy Shepherd and Laura Harcourt Shepherd; her husband Elmer Eugene "Jack" Preast; her son James Anthony Preast; and her great grandchild Walker Eugene Hampton.
She is survived by: her children, Chris Maddox of Pensacola, FL, Tracy Maddox (Aimee Maddox) of LaGrange and Hazel Hampton of Hogansville; and her grandchildren, Victoria Maddox, Corey Hammett, Haylee Maddox, Rebecca Preast, Michael Hampton and Wayne Fomby. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
