It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold B. East of LaGrange, Georgia, who passed away on April 20, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin East and Vernice Henderson East; his son Charles East; his grandson Christopher East; and his siblings, Charlie Lee East and Nora Ann Akins.
He is survived by: his wife Jessie East of LaGrange; his children, Debra Aldridge (Terry) of Hogansville, Tim East (Anna) of LaGrange, Danny East (Linda) of Centralhatchee and Dewayne East of Adel; his grandchildren, Josh Aldridge (Heather), Terry Lynn Aldridge, Brian Aldridge (Brandy) and Leigh Ann Kirkland (Josh); and his siblings, Mary Louise Adams of Heflin, AL, Betty Ruth Melson of Wadley, AL, Larry Brantley East of Bowdon and Billy Ray East of LaGrange. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home (208 Johnson St, Hogansville, GA 30230). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
