He is survived by: his son Michael Evans (Amy Evans); his sister Lynda Paxton (Gary Paxton); his grandson Tyler Evans; his niece April Leigh Paxton (Josh Marquardt); and his great-niece Emily Paulson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Higgins Funeral Home (506 Hill St, LaGrange, GA 30241). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Shadowlawn Cemetery (112 Oak Ln, LaGrange, GA 30241).
