He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Lyles Lane and Katherine Zelma Steel Lane; his son Travis Lane; and his grandson Justin Lane. He is survived by: his wife Diane Lane; his children, Cindy Anderson (Randy) and Joel Lane (Kelly); his grandchildren, Michael Kitchens (Aaron), Michelle Kitchens, Jessica May (Brandon), Josh Lane, Jarred Lane and Summer Lane; his great grandchildren, Tyler Kitchens, Haley Kitchens, Hunter Kitchens, Mason Atkinson, Hayden May, Jayden Lane and Violet Lane; and his sister Sandra Gosdin (Terrell).
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary (1010 Mooty Bridge Rd, LaGrange, GA 30240). A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
