Nelson (Carolyne) of Chicago, IL and Cecelia McCoy of Marietta, GA; his mother-in-law Juanita Johnson of Southfield, Michigan; his brothers-in-law, Donald Lockhart (Annise) of Bronx, NY and Dr. Robert Johnson (Michelle) of West Borough, MA; his niece Kelli Nelson; his nephews, Danny Heard (Pam), Dexter Williams (Nina), Brannen Nelson and Ian McCoy; his goddaughter Jennifer Edmondson Johnson (Scotty); his extended family Joyce Thomas of Montgomery, AL; and his sister Benjalyn Holmes (Matthew) of Marietta, GA. He is also survived by other relatives and very close friends.
