He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hardy and Ellen Hardy; and his wife Minnie Kate Hardy. He is survived by: his children, Vivian Q. Hardy, Melvin J. Hardy, Bobby Hardy (Cynthia) of West Point, GA, Lester Hardy (Amelia) of LaGrange, GA, Nathaniel Hardy (Eva) of LaGrange, GA and Don C. Hardy of LaGrange, GA; and his siblings, Alice Hightower, Mary Major, Nathaniel Hardy and Larry Hardy. He is also survived by twenty one grandchildren, thirty-seven great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.
