He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward McCann (E. D.) and Laverne Potts McCann. He is survived by: his wife Marie Liles McCann; his daughters, Sheila Pike (Gary) and Tina Thomas (Scotty); his siblings, Elton McCann (Velma), Katherine Wright (late Paul Wright) and Cindy Cook (late Johnny Cook); and his grandchildren, Brittney Lawhorn (Jesse), Amber Gough (Hunter), Haley Pike, Brandon Thomas (Maria), Dakota McNeil (Drew) and Destiny Thomas. He is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Higgins Funeral Home (506 Hill St, LaGrange, GA 30241). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Gray Hill Baptist Church Cemetery (3285 Bartley Rd, West Point, GA 31833).
