She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas Butler and Irene Dingler Butler; her son Shannon Beesley; and her sister Wilma Hines. She is survived by: her husband Roy Hershel Stodghill; her children, Joseph Beesley (Amanda), Stewart Beesley and Alison Stodghill; her sisters, Jean Reynolds (Charles), Patsy Tilson (late Danny), Vida Duke (Jamie) and Jacqueline Wilson (late Mark); and her grandchildren, Jacob Beesley (Nicole), Emily Beesley, Lillie and Christoper Cavender. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Higgins Funeral Home (506 Hill St, LaGrange, GA 30241). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Meadoway Gardens Cemetery (3293 Hamilton Rd, LaGrange, GA 30241).
