It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Meeks of LaGrange, Georgia, who passed away on June 16, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bryant Meeks and Sally Gladys Fortner Meeks; his wife Nora Mae Watson Meeks; and his son Billy Mark Meeks (Courtney). He is survived by: his children, Wayne Billy Meeks, Debbie Darlene Meeks, Wanda Mae Johnson and Sally Ann Phillips; his siblings, James Bryant "Junior" Meeks (Nell) and Barbara Lumley Smith (Clyde); his grandchildren, James Johnson, Angel Phillips, Gabriel Phillips, Ashley Lawrence, Matthew Phillips, Abraham Phillips, Jessica Meeks, Daniel Phillips, Billy Bryant Meeks, Chasity Phillips, Amy Meeks, Cody Meeks and Katie Meeks; and his friend Chris Smith. He is also survived by many great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
