He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Vivian Addison and Irene Mapes Addison; and his wife Virginia Dare Landers Addison. He is survived by: his children, James (Mary Gwyn) of Seneca, SC, William (Alyce) of Montgomery, AL and Luann Jones (Phillip) of West Point, GA; and his grandchildren, Landis Addison, Harper Addison, James Nathan Addison, Annie Addison, Bea Addison and Mary Doornbos (Grant). He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
