It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Elizabeth (Joyce) Murphy (LaGrange, Georgia), who passed away on September 29, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Murphy and Clara Murphy; and her siblings, Alton Murphy, Sheila Keegan, Susan Gaddis and Debra Brown.

She is survived by: her son Derek Murphy (Terry Murphy); her brothers, Richard Murphy and John Murphy; and her close friends, Pinto, Hershey and Poppy.
