She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Posey Johnston and Ruby Pike Johnston; her siblings, Joe Johnston and Peggy Pruitt; and her aunt Zelma Carrington.

She is survived by: her husband Garvis G. McKeen Sr.; her children, Lamar McKeen (Dorothy), Garvis G. McKeen Jr. and Becky McKeen (Mark Nelms); her grandchildren, Dee Kelley (Glenn Cunningham), Jonathan Purcell, Dennis McKeen (Katie) and Molly McKeen; her great grandchildren, Kaylen and McKenzie Kelley; and her siblings, Faye Roye, Barbara Riggs, Glenn Joel Johnston and Dan Johnston. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
