Avant; his grandchildren, Zion K. Cook, Jayden Q. Cook, Jaylen T. Cook and Valerie D. Cook; and his sisters, Diane Heard, Helen Tucker (Jerome) and Gail Cook. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and relatives.
