She was predeceased by: her parents, Almon Pierce Sexton and Decie Duffey Sexton; her former husband Namon Artis Parmer, Sr.; and her husband Carey Paul Brown, Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Artis Parmer (Jo), Greg Parmer (Janice) and Charles Parmer; her brother Richard Hill (Martha); her grandchildren, Cecily Gulledge (Corey), Charity Jordan (Tom), Kayla Smith (D. J.) and Cody Parmer; her stepson Ronnie Brown (Sherrie); and also Yolanda Sanders. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
