He was predeceased by: his parents, Ayers Meadows and Edna Meadows; his daughter Valorie Mitchell; and his siblings, Ted Meadows, Benny Mitchell, Wanda Rowlett, Judi Horn and Jean Meadows.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Phillips Meadows; his children, Jeremy Phillips and Amy Meadows; his sisters, Sandy Estepp, Sue Keen and Patricia Taylor; his stepson Anthony Ward Ozley; his adoptive daughter Rita Freeman; and his grandchildren, David Ozley, Jacob Ozley, Stephanie Domantay, Jennifer Phillips and Danielle Meadows. He is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; extended family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Shadowlawn Cemetery (112 Oak Ln, LaGrange, GA 30241). A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 4:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Spring Hill Baptist Church, 2239 Hammett Rd, LaGrange, GA 30241.
