She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy T. Webb and Hazel Potts Webb; her husband Barney Hugh Rutland; and her pet Sassy. She is survived by: her siblings, Zack Webb (Brenda) and Hazel "Sissy" Scott; her niece Dr. Lynn Giles (Tony); her great-nephews, John Mark Giles and Scott Giles (Melanie); her great-niece Liza Giles; her nephew Thomas Scott (Virginia Nieves); her great-nephews, Andrew Scott and Luis Nieves; her niece Holly Boatright (Ben); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Alexis Boatright and Analiese Boatright; and her caregiver Cindy Reimers. She is also survived by several other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donation be made to the LaGrange Troup County Humane Society in memory of Ann Rutland.
