She was predeceased by: her parents, William Marvin Folds and Lila Mae Miller Folds; her husband John L. Powell, Jr.; her sons, Donald Bassett and Jimmy Bassett; and her siblings, William Marvin Folds, Jr., Jack Donald Folds, Jerry K. Folds, Harold Taylor Folds and Mary Janelle Folds Siggers.
She is survived by: her sister Willodean Bohannon; her daughter-in-law Barbara Bassett; and her grandchildren, Chris Bassett, Lane Bassett, Shannon Bassett, Jim Bassett, Renee Bassett and Craig Bassett. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; extended family and friends.
