He is survived by: his wife Harriett Anne Cooper of Knoxville; his daughter-in-law Paige Arnold Cooper of Knoxville; his grandsons, Jacob Needham Cooper (Brenda) of Knoxville and John Houston Cooper (Emily) of Macon; his great grandchildren, Nevaeh Barney of Knoxville and Jaxon Cooper of Macon; and his siblings, Mark S. Cooper of Byron, Raymond R. Cooper of Knoxville and Deloris A. Cooper of Knoxville.
