She was predeceased by: her parents, Osie Emmett and Frances Johnson Nash; her husband Vernon L. "Bill" Hargett; and her brother Willis Nash. She is survived by: her daughters, Faye (Dennis Fish), Shirley (Lee Connelly), Rita (Ronnie Mobley) and Joy (Keith Hall); her grandchildren, Cindy, Diana, Billy, Bobby, Quentin, Marlena, Brooke, Emily, Justin and Meagan; and her sister Jean Nugent of Alapaha. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
