She was predeceased by : her parents, Lewis Quin Shepard, Sr. and Sara Maude Shepard; and her siblings, Betty Jane Bryant, John Benjamin Ward, Randolph Ward, Lewis Quin Shepard, Jr. and Williams.

She is survived by : her children, Dennis Shephard of Harrison, Jerry Ricks of Gray, Debra Shepard of Harrison, Tammy Scarboro of Harrison and Pam Ricks of Wrightsville. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and many friends.
