He was predeceased by: his parents, Vance Haylett and Thelma Nipper Haylett; and his brother Robert Haylett. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Haylett of Kite; his daughter Regina Akins (Tom) of Wrightsville; his granddaughters, Hannah Akins of High Springs and Jesse Kate Akins of Wrightsville; his great grandchildren, Ruby Allman and Henry Beau Allman; and his sister Linda Rosenblatt of Glen St. He is also survived by 3 nieces and 1 nephew.
