He was predeceased by: his father David Kirby; his wife Brenda Kersey Kirby; his granddaughter Kristen Kirby; and his brothers, Wayne Kirby and Danny Kirby.
He is survived by: his mother Hazel Smith Kirby of Nunez; his children, Brad Kirby (Sybil) of Adrian, Brian Kirby (Melissa) of Kite, Samantha Logue (Stephen) of Dublin, Stephanie Cowart (Billy) of Garfield and Meloney Raines of Kite; and his siblings, Bruce Kirby (Dana) of Nunez and Diane Kirby of Swainsboro. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
