It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Herrington of Kite, Georgia, who passed away on November 17, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, George Willis and Bertha Scarboro Willis; and her stepson Timmy Herrington. She is survived by : her husband William Herrington of Kite; her children, Joey Burke (Terri) of Swainsboro and Donna Newsome (Ricky) of Swainsboro; her stepchildren, Matt Herrington (Jeanette) of Derring, Michael Herrington of Vidalia and Denise Wingrove (Raymond) of Alabama; her siblings, Charlie Willis of Kite, Georgia Mae Palicka of Scott and Linda Ensley of Silva, NC; her grandchildren, Caitlin Fluet (Cole), Whitley Clifton (Chris), Christian Newsome, Bailey Burke, Analise Newsome, Hayden Burke and Banks Burke; and her great grandchildren, Berklie Bishop, Briggston Buxton, Breau Buxton, Bryer Price, Kade Durden, Gracie Durden, Boe Clifton, Bella Clifton and Rylan Clifton. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many friends.
