With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James William Ivey of Kite, Georgia, born in Dublin, Georgia, who passed away on September 20, 2023 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ivey and Annette Claxton Ivey; and his great grandchild Lane Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Ivey of Kite; his children, Denise Wombles (Shawn) of Wrightsville and Todd Ivey (Danielle) of Kite; his siblings, Sandra Anderson of Kite, Judy Scott (Joel) of Wrightsville, Lisa Troup (Chris) of Pendelton, SC and Nick Ivey (Diane) of Kite; his grandchildren, Jessie Tusa (Joe), Hannah Taylor (Brandon), Rhett Wombles, Barett Wombles and Chance Wombles; and his great grandchildren, Christian Tusa, Eli Taylor, Jase Taylor, Madison Taylor and Declan James Tusa.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Gumlog Primitive Baptist Church, P.O. Box 176, Kite, GA 31049.
