We are sad to announce that on June 26, 2024, at the age of 70, James Donald Blount of Kite, Georgia, born in Waycross, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As James departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved James. Though James may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Blount, Sr. and Yvonne King Blount; and his brother John Blount, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, James Blount, Jr. (Priscilla) of Swainsboro, Toni Bell (Rob) of Lady Lake, FL. and Jamie Futch (Tim) of Swainsboro; his siblings, Bill Blount (Diane) of Blackshear and Janice Merritt of Kite; and his nephew John Blount (Christy) of Kite. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
