He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Minton and Vina Bell Brantley Minton; and his siblings, Lamar Minton and Eloise Minton. He is survived by: his wife Betty Woods Minton; his children, Reid Johnson (Shelly), Russ Johnson of Dublin and Debbie Koon (John) of Soperton; his siblings, Billy Minton (Lorraine) of Swainsboro and Martha Waller of Pringle; his grandchildren, Kelli Koon Caraway (Jon), Lindsey Koon Moore (Derek), Myranda Driskell (Daniel), Myles Minton (Audra), Collin Scott (Brooke) and Logan Scott (Taylor); his great grandchildren, Sophie, Ollie Moore, Nora, Jackie Brooks Minton, Levi Scott, Paisley, Parker Minton, Red and Preston Driskell; and his nephews, Jaime Minton, Andrew Minton (Nikki), Doug Walker (Sherri), Regan Moxley (Joni) and Robert Moxley (Marci).
