She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Thelma Cooper; her sisters, Lynda Smith and Cheryl Lamb; and her great grandchild Kinley Grace Smisson. She is survived by: her husband Alton Hooks, Sr. of Kite; her children, Rock Hooks (Cassie) of Kite and Tera Claxton (Clifford) of Kite; her grandchildren, Chris Mimbs (Tiffany), Wesley Smisson (Racheal), Kyle Hooks (Courtney), Wade Claxton (Cheyenne), Adam Hooks and Jada Claxton of Gauge Ambrose, J. D; her great grandchildren, Raelyn Romig, Remington Smisson, Jaxson Smisson, Lincoln Smisson, Hudson Hooks, Katie Carter and Taylor Carter; and her close friend Debra Pate of Wrightsville.
