He is survived by: his parents, Walter Tapley and Thelma Tapley; his wife Ellen M. Tapley; his sister Carolyn Tapley; his son Randy Tapley (Melissa) of Sardis; his siblings, Henrietta Toole of Atlanta, Leslie Beasley of Swainsboro, Walter Tapley (Glenda) of Swainsboro, Leland Tapley of Kite and Eddie Tapley (Brenda) of Milledgeville; his grandchildren, Eric Tapley (Amy) of Augusta and Ashley E. Taylor (Trey) of Keysville; and his significant other Patsy Poole of Sardis.
