He was predeceased by: his parents, Clara Reeves and Leonard Reeves; his wife Amelia Padgett Reeves; and his siblings, Raymond, Milton, Leonard and Margie.

He is survived by: his sons, Wayne Reeves, Jr. (Tammy), Bill Reeves and John Reeves (Barbara); his grandchildren, Wayne Reeves, III (Fatima), Aaron Reeves, Dylan Reeves, Griffin Reeves, Kasey Decker and Mason Decker; and also Melanie Reeves.
