He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Howard Duvall and Bonnie Mae Chasteen; his wife Sara Frances Ghorley Duvall; and his siblings, Dallas Duvall, Larry Duvall, Marvin Duvall and Evelyn Wheedon.

He is survived by: his children, Terry Eugene Duvall and Deanna Duvall; his grandchildren, Cody Duvall, Brody Duvall and Hannah Thacker; and his sister Judy Prince (Jody).
