She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Felix Martin and Gracie Wadsworth Robinson; her sisters, Alleen Brake and Minnie Gaffney; and her daughter Cynthia Payne Freeman (Johnny Carter).
She is survived by: her daughters, Violet Payne Swain, Maria Payne, Dotti Payne and Carrie Casey. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
