He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dempsey and Ruby Dempsey of Kingston, Georgia.; and his brother Ronald Dempsey. He is survived by: his son Jay Dempsey; the mother of his child Liz Dempsey; his uncle Jack Dempsey; his niece Amara Dempsey; and his nephew Kevin Dempsey.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Boys & Girls Club of Bartow County.
