She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles L. Ellis and Bernice Newton Ellis; her grandparents, C. L. Ellis and William Newton; her sisters, Susan Gale and Lisa Newton Ellis; her daughter Nikki Zurek (Alan); her grandsons, Elijah of Florida, Ryan of Kingston and Matthew Silvers of Kingston; her friends, Patricia Cochran, Maggie Hawkins, Misty Davis, Waldrop, Dawn and Carol; and also Dawn (Peyton).
Special caregivers and friends, Patricia Cochran, Maggie Hawkins, Misty Davis and the entire staff of Waldrop who helped Dawn care for Carol for the past three years on her journey with alzheimers.
