With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Klebs of Kingsland, Georgia, born in Albany, Georgia, who passed away on October 18, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. James Hampton Wescott and Ethel Mae Harp; her husband Richard W. Klebs; her siblings, Marieolla Preachers, Jimmy Wescott and Bobby Wescott; and her grandson Jay Howell.

She is survived by: her children, David L. Bates, Jr. of Kingsland, GA, Angela Renee Howell (Hamp) of Kingsland, GA and James Arthur Bates (Mindy) of Hahira, GA; her grandchildren, Dave Bates, III, Katie Bates and Dr. Tori Bates; and her great grandchild Caleb Howell.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to Disabled American Veterans.
