He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Louie Pate and Lillian Rayburn Pate. He is survived by: his wife Charlene Pate of Kingsland, GA; his children, Roger Dale Pate, Jr. (Tosha) of Brantley Co, Jeannie Pate (Angie) of Kingsland, GA and Nancy Sloan (William) of Due West, SC.; his brother Billy Pate of Kingsland, GA.; and his grandchildren, Matthew Sloan (Ana), Emily Sloan and Gregory Sloan.
