jim anderson wrote a sympathy message

“I just heard about R.C. passing. He got me into more trouble at North Georgia College that I want to admit. But it was fun, a riot and not a small touch of danger. He never met a stranger. God bless.”

Joseph A. Malcom wrote a sympathy message

“When we were at NGC in 1960, there was no gold on Price Memorial Hall. There was no need -- we had Bob Sweat who could turn lead into gold with his smile & mischief. His humor & grin could mock superiors w/o getting into any trouble. He turned encounters with men such as Big Daddy Oaks, Commandant CPT Hause, or Cadet COL John T into one act plays with him in leading roll. They had no recourse to his humor. Behind all that was a brilliant mind. In his honor, 5 Gideon Bibles have been donated.”
