He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Joseph Ross, Sr. and Margaret McDonald Ross. He is survived by: his brothers, Barney Ross and Donald Ross; his children, Beth Ann Lunger of Kingsland, Robert J. Ross III of South Carolina, Nancy Ilene Seay (Clifton) of Kingsland, Darlene Sue Mack (Thomas) of Kingsland and Richard Thomas Ross of Cape Coral, Florida; his grandchildren, Jason, Samantha, Taylor, Jordan, Jenna, Brian, Kaitlin, Paige and Daniel; his great grandchild Robert; and his siblings, Margaret, Thomas, Barbara, Catherine and James. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Due to Covid-19 an interment service with full military honors will be held at a later date in Jacksonville National Cemetery.
