He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Keen and Irma Keen (Bowman); his wife Charlene Herring Keen; and his sister Rheba Smith. He is survived by: his children, Sharon Keen of Woodbine, GA and Franklin Keen of Yulee, FL.; his grandchildren, Ashley Roush (Adam) of Yulee, FL, Joseph Trey, III (Tripp) of St. Simons Island, GA., Joshua Trey of St. Marys, GA., Jason Keen (Mandi) of Yulee, FL and Wesley Keen of Yulee, FL.; his great grandchildren, Ryan Trey, Aaron Roush, MaryLove Trey, Hannah Trey, Cason Keen, Sam Trey and Brysen Keen; his brothers, Charlie Keen (Marion) of Cochran, GA, Bobby Keen (Nell) of Pineview, GA, Jake Keen (Linda) of Abbeville, GA, Eddie Keen (Charlotte) of Abbeville, GA, Wade Keen (Mary Jo) of Abbeville, GA and Andrew Keen (Sheila) of Abbeville, GA; the mother of his children Joyce Keen of Yulee, FL; and his stepchildren, Edna Giglio (Dominic), Eddie Collins and Ronnie Collins (Dolly). He is also survived by 14 step-grandchildren, 18 step great-grandchildren, and 9 step great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Mr. Keen's name to the Hospice of the Golden Isles, 1692 Glynco Parkway Brunswick, Ga 31525.
