She was predeceased by: her parents, C. C. Johnson and Mary Baker Johnson; her husband Lawrence Courtney; and her sons, Douglas Courtney and Michael Courtney.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Douglas Courtney (Destiny) of Kingsland, Nikole Roberts (Jason) of Denver and Kristin McCallister of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida; and her siblings, Sheila Allen, Maxine and Warren Johnson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
