He was predeceased by: his parents, Wiley Thrift and Mae Carter Thrift; his siblings, Alice Jordan, Agness Sowyers, Leatha Miller, Grean "Buddy" Thrift and Wiley Wade Thrift; his sister-in-law Annette Thrift; and his close friend GiGi.
He is survived by: his brothers, Joe Thrift of Woodbine and Eddie Thrift of Woodbine; and his siblings-in-law, Joyce Thrift of Kingsland, Sharon Suarez of St. Marys and Glenn Miller of Woodbine.
His family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Hospice of Golden Isles.
