She is survived by: her husband Lawton'Gene'Bassett of Kingsland, GA.; her children, Sabrina Lee (Tim Shilling) of Jacksonville, FL, Stephanie Carter of Jacksonville, FL, April Tucker (Richie) of Tifton, GA. and Lawton E. Bassett, III (Alisha) of Tifton; and her grandchildren, Tiffany Shilling, Erica Gann (Mason), Kaitlin Tucker (Adam Spurlin), Le Bassett, IV (Miranda) and Annslee Bassett.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Hospice of the Golden Isles, Kingsland Humane Society, and St Marys Methodist Church Youth fund.
