He was predeceased by: his parents, George Fogarty and Thelma Hickman Fogarty; his son Jon Charles 'Chuck' Fogarty, Jr.; and his sisters, Patricia Richardson and Mary Sapp.
He is survived by: his wife Lynn Nichol Fogarty of Kingsland; and his daughter Caroline Lynn Echols of Carrollton, GA. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
