She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Swartz and Quinta Swartz; her husbands, Grover "Jim" Knowles and Felix Atkinson, Sr.; and her sister Jane Henderson Forlenza.
She is survived by: her children, James Knowles (Teresa) of St. Marys and Barbara Knowles (Linda) of Crawfordville; her granddaughters, Nicole Readdick (Trevor) of St. Marys and Georgia Kay McCollum of St. Marys; and her great grandchild Frazier Readdick.
