He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Hedgepeth and Vertie Hedgepeth; his wife Rutha Hedgepeth; and his siblings, Clarkie King, James Hedgepeth, Morris Hedgepeth and Bennie Hedgepeth.
He is survived by: his children, Everett D. Hedgepeth (Christi) of Kingsland and Felicia Giddens (John) of Alto; and his grandchildren, Ashley Roberts (Chris), Joshua Hedgepeth, Cheyenne Burns (Zachary), Timothy Giddens (Kristie), Matthew Giddens (Ashley), Joshua Giddens, Erik Giddens (Kayla), Evan Gallagher, Amelia Gallagher, Samuel Gallagher and Caroline Reeves (Steven). He is also survived by his 10 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Parkway Assembly of God Church (5191 Eisenhower Pkwy, Macon, GA 31206).
